Waterways0 viewsThere were a couple lakes/ponds on different levels that were joined by this bit of a waterway.

Water0 viewsOriginally there were 5 medieval fish ponds. Later this lake was built

Wall hanging1 viewsThis hanging was in the Banqueting hall. It strikes me as not very European, but I could be wrong about that.

Tudor house1 viewsThis is a house that sits just outside of the castle. It was pretty. I seem to remember reading that it was Georgian.

The dormitory3 viewsOn the top floor was what was thought to be the communal sleeping area. They had beds set up in a couple of the alcoves to show what it might have been like. The other theory was that this was not actually a floor, but that the roof sat in this area with the bottom edge of the roof being at the level of the floor. There are a couple drain holes through the walls at floor level.

Stairs...obviously not the original2 viewsIt was obvious that this castle had had some work done to it. For starters the stairs were brick and cement.
